If we talk about the history of Rincon de la Subbética we have to talk about its oil mill, Almazaras de la Subbética. It belongs to a cooperative with more than 60 years of experience.

Since its beginnings, it has opted for specific values: Maximum quality, respect for the farmer, care for the environment and offering a product that achieves a maximum degree of customer satisfaction.

To be faithful to these values has become a benchmark for extra virgin olive oils worldwide, giving rise to an unmistakable EVOO and with important recognitions as being the Best Oil in the World in the years 2012, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.

Where are the Almazaras de la Subbética located?

These oil mills are located in an area of environmental interest: the Sierras Subbéticas Natural Park. It has 29,628 hectares of olive groves distributed among the municipalities of Almedinilla, Carcabuey, Fuente Tójar and Priego de Córdoba.

They are complicated lands due to the rugged terrain where the plantations are, but thanks to the dedication of its farmers, using modern cultivation techniques and adapted technology it has been possible to produce an olive oil full of tradition.

Rincón de la Subbética is a certified olive oil with DO Priego de Córdoba. This Do has been established in 1995 in orderto guarantee the oils of this region located in the southeast of Córdoba, bordering with Jaén and Granada, which you should definitely try.
